Welcome
My name is Alana Everest, I am an experienced and qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, providing face to face and online pluralistic therapy. Covering Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Bishop Stortford, Epping, Ongar and surrounding areas.

I understand how challenging it may be for you to find the right person to talk to, therefore I am more
than happy to provide a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space to listen and talk about your reasons for attending therapy. This would allow us to acknowledge whether I am a suitable therapist for you and if we can work ethically and professionally together. If I am not that person, I would help you make a referral.

I offer face to face and online counselling, providing early morning appointments, evening and day appointments. I am open to discussing promotion packages too, offer a free 15 minute telephone appointment and a free Initial Consultation.

What to expect in your first session:
During your first therapy session I would ask you some questions regarding your reasons for seeking therapy without giving judgements or solutions. To gain a better understanding we would discuss your family history, symptoms and current state of mind. This would allow us to acknowledge whether we are ethically suitable to work together and then plan how we would continue together using the appropriate approaches and goals that would benefit you.

My mission is to professionally provide an inclusive supportive, confidential and ethical practice where you feel understood, valued and listened to. I will encourage you to explore your mind and well-being, in a non-judgemental safe space. As you begin to understand your past and present, whilst making connections with your emotions, thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I will enable you to self-reflect and positively set future goals, have hope and begin your healing journey.
